When you move you have to decide what household things you need to take with you and what to discard. The process is called de-cluttering, which is an important aspect to consider when you move. Before de-cluttering you need to take a look at the household things that you need at the new home; and separate them. Those that you don't need have to be either sold off or given off as a charity. Things that you don't need can be donated or sold off. You can consider donating old books, toys, magazines, or clothes or any other things that are in good condition to a local charity... Or you can sell the stuff off through a yard sale, or a garage sale. You can auction them through a website like eBay or through your own website. Getting rid of emotionally attached things frees you mind.
